An intriguing forward is set to join the Edmonton Oilers.
Quinn Hutson was recalled from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors on Monday, the team announced.
Hutson, the older brother of Montreal Canadiens defenceman Lane Hutson, would be making his season debut if he gets into a game.
However, with the Oilers and Canadiens already having played two games against each other, the earliest a Hutson brothers showdown could happen is in the Stanley Cup Final.
Quinn Hutson, a 23-year-old undrafted free agent, is leading AHL rookies in goals (16) and points (28) in his first full season out of Boston University.
He appeared in two games with the Oilers last season, failing to record a point.
Edmonton returns to action Tuesday when it visits the Pittsburgh Penguins.
